A free roof inspection, with the photos to prove it
You should not have to take anyone's word for the condition of your roof. We show you.
What we check
| Area | What we look for |
|---|---|
| Field of the roof | Missing, lifted or creased shingles; cracked, slipped or broken tiles; granule loss; blisters |
| Edges and ridges | Loose ridge and hip caps, drip edge, and the rake edges wind attacks first |
| Penetrations | Pipe boots, vents, skylights, chimneys and satellite mounts |
| Flashing | Roof-to-wall joints, valleys and step flashing along stucco walls |
| Attic | Daylight through the deck, water stains, damp insulation and the connections between trusses and walls |
| Drainage | Gutters, downspouts and any ponding on low-slope sections |

Who asks for one
Homeowners after a storm. Buyers and sellers who want to know what they are dealing with. People whose insurer has asked questions about roof age or condition. And homeowners applying to My Safe Florida Home, which uses its own approved inspection, can use ours to understand the roof beforehand.
The inspection is free and there is no obligation. You get the photos either way.
Questions about roof inspection
Is the inspection really free?
Yes. There is no charge for the visit or the photo report, and no pressure to book work.
Do you go into the attic?
When there is access, yes. Many leaks and deck problems only show from underneath.
Is your inspection the same as a wind mitigation or My Safe Florida Home inspection?
No. Those are separate inspections done by qualified inspectors on specific forms. Ours is a roofer's condition check, useful for planning repairs and claims.

Your details
We call you back the same day to pick a time. Inspections and replacement estimates cost nothing; on a repair, the roofer prices it before work begins.
